Hoping we get to ride splash one last time but if we don't make it in July I'm not sure we will.

The initial announcement of the retheme feels so long ago that I thought it was already closed.

I'd expect it to be closed for at least a year, depending on how much work is required. It was well over two years to switch Great Movie Ride to Runaway Railway although that was a huge change with a new ride system. But I think even the Frozen retheme on Maelstrom was about 18 months.

DD will be gutted - Splash is her all time favourite ride. Was really hoping we’d make it one last time.

Arrgh noooo! Splash was under refurbishment last time I went, so I have no been on it since May 2014! I may push my trip to 2023 as it's one of my favourite rides and I can't wait to see the new makeover.

NOOOOO, its my fav ride not been on it since 2018 and due back Sept 22. Will be so disappointed if its closed.
