Park Hopping question...

We've booked to stay at the Beach Club which may possibly bankrupt us, but we love eating at Epcot.

However, now this new system has been put in place where you can only go to one park each day (I hope I've got that right) does that mean that we can't go to Hollywood Studios in the day and then wander over to Epcot for dinner?

You have to book a park for the day then after 2pm you can hop to anywhere else

You can still park hop but you have to reserve your first park and enter it anytime during the day. You can then check for park hopping availability into a second park after 2pm.

Ah thank you oh wise ones!

Generally, we like to get to the park for rope drop so that sounds doable.

I'd hazard a guess that this system may not be in place by next year.

I'm sure Disney have said that the park reservation system will be here throughout next year?

But they also said masks would be required all this year. Things can change.

It isn’t a problem for us, we tend to plan our parks anyway.

Bob Chapek did imply that the park reservation system was here for good. Although - who knows!

And the park hopping system could change. Disney have officially said that the 2pm threshold could change. It might move earlier in the day, later in the day, or be removed altogether.

That’s why I put a question mark, I wasn’t 100% sure if that’s what he said!

Park Hopping needs to come back, as what's the point of staying onsite, they will know this

Park hopping is back. You can go to multiple park in a day (if you have a park hopper ticket, of course). There are just some different rules at the moment regarding how you do it.

I'm not sure what being onsite and offsite has to do with it though? We park hopped just as much when we were offsite as we did when we stayed onsite.
