Best Weather App for Florida
Which weather app do you recommend for keeping an eye on the weather while in the parks?

I'm interested in this as well.
Everyone used to say Dark Skies but that's only on apple now. I think anything with a radar should be useful as you will see any storms moving in |

Just use AccuWeather like I do anywhere else. Pretty accurate. Esp if you look at the radar images. I go by those and not necessarily the hour by hour forecast. I find I can predict rainy weather better by radar anticipating direction and speed.

I usually look at the sky while in the parks, that’s pretty accurate as to what’s heading your way!
But usually just watch a news channel in a morning to see what the forecast is. Other than that, the weather isn’t particularly important once we’re out the door, unless there’s a pending hurricane…… 😉

Dark Skies is shutting down soon and will only be part of the Apple app.
Shadow Weather is one of the best alternatives around. |

Accuweather. It tells you it will rain in 5 minutes and then it does!

Accuweather for the the new to Florida those of us who’ve been a few times can smell it sense it. And I’m not joking the air smells changes the wind changes locals and seasoned guests start heading to restaurants or indoor attractions
On long park days we don’t think about sitting down to eat till the here it comes feeling Kicks in first timers with us always are amazed when we say right are you ready to go home want to eat indoors or do some shopping etc but we all love hot puddles when the rain has gone |

We use The Weather Channel app. Free to download, gives radar for the previous 2 hours so you can soo which direction things are heading and predicts 6 hours into the future.
It works in the U.K. as well and runs of GPS so maybe download it and have a play at home so you can see how it works and if you like it. |
