The celebrations look good! Looking forward to seeing a list of the 50 character statues that will be placed around the 4 parks.

Highly unlikely. They don’t normally run two different shows (apart from during evening parties). They might go back to Happily Ever After once the 50th celebration ends 18 months later. That’s what happened at Disneyland after there 60th, although believe that was down to the much higher running cost of the 60th firework show. They might just keep the show as a permanent replacement though if it is well received.

I am genuinely gutted that I won't get to see Happily Ever After. I too was hoping they would run both

It all looks fab. I'm not sure whether we will see all this, if we can get there this year we are scheduled to go in early September, but maybe some of this will last a bit longer than a year, like Harmonious maybe. Next year we are possibly doing a West Coast road trip and then Disneyland Paris, so it will probably be 2023 before we get back to WDW.

Anyhow, enough about me, thanks for the heads up about the news, and I must say the book looks GORGEOUS - I may have to fork out for that!

Looks great but I'm interested how the Main Street projections are going to change prime viewing areas. As around Town Square could become the best place to see the entire show rather than from the hub.

The 50th is running for 18 months as standard, so will be running until at least the end of March 2023. Perhaps longer if they decide to keep the new MK show over HEA.

AFAIK, Harmonious is the permanent new show for Epcot rather than 50th specific. So that should definitely still be there if you can't get there in early 2023.
