The agents are way behind on the info. Same happened to people when AL cancelled and agents said no still going.

I just hope Virgin would rather hold onto my cash and transfer our flights to 2020...

Virgin Atlantic will update their Global Distrobution System on Saturday for any bookings affected. So if a booking agent just relies on that for information they won't know that flights are cancelled. Some booking agents don't always check and read their emails either.

I’ve been checking the Air France and dial a flight apps all days. As my tickets are booked with AirFrance, DialAFlight won’t know it’s cancelled until it shows as cancelled on AF. Which it doesn’t.

In fact I can check my booking on the virgin website and it is still listed. Even though if I do a flight status check it had disappeared.
