Blue light discount at Wdw if booking 2 rooms?

Hi I'm going round and round looking at our options to stay onsite next year 🙈. I'm now looking into 2 rooms at ASM as we are a family of 5- has anyone used the blue light discount when booking two rooms and if so did you get it on both rooms or just one? It me my husband and 3 kids so I'm not trying to get a discount for another party. I have emailed them but think it could take a while for them to reply.

If it's all on one booking then I would assume the BLC discount will be against both rooms/total holiday cost.
It'd be quicker to call them I guess.

That's the thing you cannot book 2 rooms on the same booking online. I was hoping to book online to have a chance at getting the 3% cashback too. Maybe I'm just being greedy but prices are so much more next year to our previous trip- every little helps 🤣

Disney's systems aren't set up to book 2 rooms under one booking, either online or over the phone. So, you'll have to make 2 bookings regardless and I would just do it online and go via a cashback site and use your BL discount for both. Cashback might not payout of you have another discount though, so if it does, it's a bonus

Yes this is what I am thinking I know top cash back is never garanteed with any purchase. Good to know that even over the phone it would be 2 bookings.

Just in case It helps anyone else I've had a reply from wdtc today and they have confirmed you can use the blc discount on two rooms.

I had to cancel and re book but did get the BLD off both rooms. First time it has taken longer than a day or so for the reservation to be recognised though and this did result in losing our park bookings on MDE. Eventually did manage to get them all rebooked and the discount was certainly worth it.

I would book the 2 rooms separately, and then link them, that way you get discount on both, 2 x dining credits and 2 x $200 gift cards!

I would have done it that way if we were entitled to the credits but our dates over Easter don't qualify. We still got the BLD off both rooms though
