That's what I thought but they have gone now just takes you to the landing page explaining what Magic Bands are.

Sounds like a glitch many of us have had. Phone Disney tech.

Ooh thank you. I’ll give them a try! It’s not a life or death thing really but it’d be nice after all this time to get the nice magic bands I chose!

It isn’t a technical glitch, they have deliberately turned off the ability to preorder and you have to buy in person as mentioned in the FAQ. They must have had hundred of thousands of uncollected bands turning up at resorts last year, it makes sense not to have that happen again. When things get back to normal, they may turn preorder back on.

Is it still best to have a magic band?
I’ve never had one before, as last time I stayed on site they weren’t a thing.
I ordered mine for last years trip that was cancelled.
I feel like they would still be easier than having to get out your phone or find your key / tickets constantly?
I’m just hoping one of the nice Disney people will program it for me...

I’m definitely going to use a magic band, either one of my old ones or probably buy a new one. I can’t be bothered getting my phone out every time I need to swipe something.

Just wondering if you would still have the same choice if you pick them up from the resort shop Per se who may only hold a small stock ?

Just wondering ?

You would have a better choice at Disney Spring or one of the parks.

Other people who have had this issue have had it resolved by calling tech. Hard to go and buy in person if you are overseas and then are expected to go to say Disney springs when you have landed. A selection is still available to buy through MDE when it works. Some people have the glitch some don't.

The FAQ clearly states that they now have to be bought in person though?
