First cut ?
I've been out in the garden this morning, filled a big bin bag of cutting/ hacking back.
My grass though is still way too wet for a cut ✂️. But I saw on another thread someone has started mowing. Have you cut yours yet this year? When do you reckon you will start? |

You could mow mine now, dry as a bone but will hold off a month in case of a hard frost.

We did ours last weekend. The amount of mowers I could hear going would suggest that most of my neighbours did the same 🌞

I usually start in March but the weather has been so good this week so on Wednesday when is was 17C I did it 😎it was ok usually it’s so long & takes ages, it wasn’t too bad & now the fortnightly mowing commences until October 🙄🤦
Glad I’ve only got a small garden |

I really need to, but it’s way too wet. Hopefully in a week if we have sun and no rain 🤞

Whilst the days have been nice and warm here, overnight has been a frost by morning on each day.
So whilst dry enough to do the chopping back, risk of killing everything overnight is still there in the east of the country. Maybe next week if will be staying warm enough overnight. |

I have a ride on mower and it's way to wet to use it, everything would turn to mud. I'll just have to hold off until we get a spell of dry weather.
