On the plus side, let''s hope that the Disney teams (and other theme parks {Universal Studios REALLY needs it}) are taking the opportunity to blitz the upgrades, maintenance and general housekeeping during the visitor-less times. It must be a strange place right now with no-one in there.

And to all those that had to cancel visits - my heart goes out to you because, whether it is the first or twentieth visit, we all know what a life event it is to visit Orlando.

Here in Orlando, it looks like we are very much in a wait-and-see pattern for the next couple of weeks. No-one can predict how serious this is going to be (and we certainly haven't hit the peak of this yet) and that is obviously very disconcerting. Obviously things can't start to return to normal until the airlines are properly back in business, but we do know things should be able to resume very quickly once they are. Realistically, I think we're looking at a 2-month shutdown from now, but we're not going to have any real idea for a while. All construction work has halted at WDW for now and we now have a nightly curfew in Orange County from 11pm-5am, so things are going to be a bit weird for a while. But we do see an enormous will and capacity to get back on track as soon as possible, so don't rule out your holiday plans just yet

I think that’s a good point. People will be using this time to think about how they can get back to normal quickly.
