Happy New Year!

I have frozen mango, pomegranate and blackberries. Any suggestions what I could do with them? I think I bought them ages ago thinking I could make a smoothie but I dont know how!

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks xxx

Don't know the correct way for a smoothie but I use a carton of natural yoghourt filled again with semi skimmed milk and a guestimate of fruits and put them all in the blender and sweeten if necessary with Stevia.

Mix with vanilla icecream and sprinkle a Flake on top or plain chocolate for those extra antioxidants.

Delicious dessert which I am sure must be healthy.

Now I want icecream! 🍨

I’ve just had a smoothie. 200g yogurt. 100ml milk. Handful of frozen fruit and a spoonful of oats.

Blitzed it all together with a stick blender.

A crumble or fool with the blackberries.

A salsa with the mango.

Pomegranate seeds go well in salads or couscous. If you Google BBC Good Food Pomegranate Recipes, there are 47 recipes including a very tempting chocolate torte.

My boys make smoothie drinks with Apple juice, just chuck in a blender and whizz. Add more juice if it's too thick...
