Any suggestions on places that give good promo deals?

I just signed up to all my favourite places, they sent me various offers but most run out in a month so only sign up to them a couple of weeks before you go

A lot of the favourite chains, such as Chilis, Outback, Longhorns, Olive Garden, Sweet Tomatoes etc.

Also, when you sign up, put your birthday down as being sometime during your holiday as they usually send you birthday discounts. Friendlys will email you a voucher for free ice cream others a extra birthday discount.

As said above do it a week or so before you go, as most of the joining discounts run out failrly quickly.

Fuddruckers and Culvers do a good introductory voucher.
Village inn and Perkins have good discount vouchers.

Also a good idea to make a separate email address just for doing this otherwise you are forever receiving offers.

Most offer some sort of incentive for joining their email club, but also keep an eye on receipts as often they also offer a 20-25% discount if you return within a set time frame

I have never had to prove it. If asked I'd just say I have no ID on me. I'm like the queen and rarely carry my purse (just use DH card instead) so it's normally true anyway!

We have never been asked to prove our birthday,usually it is just discount they offer, sometimes a free drink or ice cream , most have barcodes on them as well so you cant use them multiple times, so it ties in with the email address you supplied

the last trip, i set up 4 email address's , one for each member of the party, then created a spreadsheet for whos birthday was on what day at which resteraunt, so each night we could go somewhere for someones birthday .
