Hi Kevin,

Can you explain which is the best option to get to Shinjuku from Haneda? I see some people suggest the monorail to HAmamatsucho and then transfer to the Yamanote line for Shinjuku, others suggest the Keikyu line to Shinagawa and onwards...I don't know what the difference is? Is one quicker than the other? Or is it just that they're owned by different companies?

You are correct
They both do the same thing but for me I would take the monorail to hamamatscho and get the Yamamote

Shinagawa is further up the Yamamote line so when you go round to Shinjuku it will stop at hamatscho anyway if you got off at Shinagawa

So might as well change at hamatscho from the monorail to the Yamamote
