Even taking the total lack of assistance away, that guy oozes unprofessionalism. Hands in pockets while in uniform on duty looks terrible.

I had problems at MCO with special assistance in 2015. It was fine on arrival but on departure, the service was totally lacking. I asked at check in for help and got a shrug of the shoulders. I can walk a bit and had to stand in the security queue for over an hour. I nearly collapsed. I finally made it to the gate and reported the problem only to be told "Stand over there with the wheelchair people!"
I had problems at MAN as special assistance was nowhere to be seen on our arrival. Special assistance at MCO and MAN was/is provided by a contractor but requested through the airline. Next time I fly I'll INSIST on help - they're not going to get away with it again, even if I have to shout loud! |

Wow is that guy you are filming not supposed to be helping push the chair.
To be honest while I never want someone to be fired. This guy is taking the P. Some people aren't cut out to be guest assistance and this is one of them. When we went to Madrid airport the woman at the special assistance desk didn't have one word of english and was rude but not only that she was clearly racist when an Indian woman who was very polite asked for help. I got talking to her and she'd been waiting 75 minutes for assistance and her flight was leaving in 30 minutes. We had to wait 25 minutes and the woman was taken just before us, not sure how she got her flight. Brussels airport we've been abandoned twice on arrival the last time when no one was there I stayed on the plane until they sorted something out. The cabin crew pretend that there's someone at the the start of the gate but we know better if they aren't at the door then they aren't there. We fly 6-7 times a year so have learned the hard way. Good luck with your complaint that video is shocking!
