Hertz Ultimate Choice

I have a standard SUV booked through Andy with Hertz in August. I've just been reading about Ultimate Choice and I'm wondering if it applies to me? I'm not a gold member or anything, I'm just a bog standard renter.

Will I see my name on the board and just head to the allocated zone or will I have to go to the Hertz desk at Miami Airport first?

Any information appreciated. Thankyou.

If you haven’t joined Hertz Gold rewards then you’ll have to go to the counter. I believe you will be allocated a vehicle as “choice” is only for reward members. You could sign up to Hertz Gold Rewards and then try getting your booking linked to your membership.

Join the Gold Rewards online then give Hertz a call. As Alibayparc says, they will sort this out for you. I did the same thing originally and a call to the help desk was really easy and helpful.

As others above have said, join rewards and get it linked to your booking, but as it’s your first booking I think you still need to go to the Hertz ‘hut’ in the garage so they can verify your DL etc.

Thank you everyone! I read it as applying to 'all' bookings regardless of membership so at least I know I was wrong!

I will try and join rewards and give them a call to get my booking linked.

Apologies, I obviously have never read the Ultimate Chioce correctly. You’re correct in saying that every customer gets to choose. Non Gold members get to choose from their allocated class, bit like Alamo and others. Still worth joining the rewards programme to go straight to the garage.
