Mobile Booking dilemma

Im after advice & opinions please. I’m not sure whether to book a value Disney hotel with the free nights offer (get 1 free night at Pop) or hang on to see what the US offers are. Issue is the free nights deal ends in March & the US offers usually don’t start til April/May. Planning 10 nights this September. What do people think will be the best thing to do?

You could always book the UK offer with just 1 person in the room so you only pay a £50 deposit. Then, if a better offer cones out with the US, you could cancel and would only lose £50 (would need to cost that in to the US offer obviously), but with the knowledge that you've got it secured in case there isn't a better US offer. If you end up staying with the UK offer, you can just add on the extra members of your party and pay their £50pp deposits then.

or, if its just the hotel you're booking, book it through another agent, which may offer free cancellation?

Do you know any UK agents that offer free cancellation with Disney offers? I thought that the £50 loss of deposit was a Disney charge, so I'm not aware of any and would be interested to know if there are please

you may be right, all agents may be the same, I booked my onsite WDW hotel in 2015 with free nights through Expedia, didn't pay much attention to the cancellation policy for it as I was pretty sure I wouldn't be cancelling that one . I have cancelled with no charge (other hotel chains, not WDW) with ebookers and travelrepublic in the past.

I've booked a rate that can be cancelled through hotels.com before. Not sure how the prices compare though.

Thank you. I wasn't sure if companies like Expedia, travelrepublic etc offered the free nights offer or whether they just have discounted bed bank rates. I know that Disney US has different cancellation policies to the UK, so I wonder if it depends in whether they get their rooms via the US or UK? Not really 100% sure though tbh, but it's the sort of thing that would be handy to know
