MDA linking tickets

Any advise greatly appreciated, I've just been on phone to Disney and am possibly more confused now 😭

We can book fast passes from tomorrow so I thought I'd take a little look at the app in advance of that! When I click on "Get fast passes" and try and create a fast pass party it goes onto a section where I need to link ticket or package for each person in the party

Is this because our fast pass date is not until tomorrow?

When I try and link a person with room/tickets it won't recognise the reservation

Have you booked an on-site package with tickets? If so, the system knows that those tickets are linked to your check in date, so won't let you access the fastpass system until 12pm at 60 days. It's basically saying, if you want to visit Disney before the holiday that you have linked to MDE, then please link another ticket as the tickets you currently have aren't valid for fastpasses yet.

If you have booked on-site accommodation and tickets separately (so, not as a package), then the system does not know that those tickets are linked to your on-site stay, so will let you see 30 days at any point as you may be visiting before actually staying, then open up at 60 days prior to checking in.

It's an onsite package tickets/hotel which on the app when it asked you to link it to the hotel reservation wasn't recognising the booking which was giving me mini heart attacks.

I've just had a look on the my Disney experience web page and it's showing my fast passes with a little padlock so I'm feeling a little more positive.

Basically the app is asking me to link my party but saying it cannot find the booking, which I guess is because fast pass day is tomorrow?

Is it actually easier to just book them through the web page? Will I still need to individually link everyone with the booking? And will it know us tomorrow?

As if picking the rides and parks wasn't hair pulling enough 😬

It's because it's already linked, so you can't link it again. It's saying, please link another ticket or reservation as the one that you have isn't eligible to book fastpasses today. It knows the date, so will automatically open up for you at 12pm tomorrow, so try not to worry.

I've always used my PC to book them, as I just find it easier to sit in front of a bigger screen. Then I'll use my phone for tweaking if I need to.
