Very early on they will ask you if you have flown Upper Class before and when you say 'No' they will give you a great welcome and then explain things to you as they crop up. As said earlier, they will make the bed for you and don't be afraid to ask them to do it as soon as you want it. I like to settle down pretty quickly. The pillows are bigger and there is a lovely soft duvet.
Main thing is that it is not full of Hollywood A listers and business people. Its a flight to/from Orlando full of happy people just like you. Anyone putting on airs would look pretty silly! Edited at 01:01 AM. |

Some of the later questions are about a night flight and a day outbound flight so I was thinking of those. But, quite right, I could be assuming wrongly.

Again thanks for the replies. We are flying home from Dubai. A day flight, I’ve looked up and apparently we can also use the marhaba lounge at Dubai in answer to a previous post.
It all sounds great so far, looking forward to the experience |

Sfo clubhouse is fab. I had a shower but forgot to take brush with me, tried to comb through my hair with my fingers but had to walk 75% the length of the clubhouse looking a right state!
It's before security but we were escorted through security by a virgin staff member so didn't take long. Enjoy!

Excited about Disney

During August 2017 the wife and I popped across the pond to New York JFK via Virgin Atlantic UC both ways and very nice it was indeed. Starting with the lounge at LHR which was all very relaxed and really nice meal through to the on board seating, service, bed and food etc. Two really enjoyable flights in UC which was even more special for us as our teenage daughters weren't with us, as they were both holidaying in the UK with friends. (They wanted to go away with their friends, so I booked them up, then we booked New York, aww Dad, you didn't say you was going to NY ! ) The lounge at JFK was nice and very friendly service staff and I had a great curry, plus seconds but it just wasn't quite as good as the uk side.. but still nice !
I feel that we will have to do UC again soon as both girls would dearly love to experience this, so New York again possibly in 2019 ! saving those pennies now...
