Mobile DDP credits

On the DDP are you restricted to what items you can order in restaurant?

For instance we are looking at the Boathouse, if we were to choose a steak is it a certain price steak we are allowed or certain size? Or can you literally order anything for your credits?
As there are some steaks for $38 and some close to $50?

Sorry if this is a simple question lol, we just have no clue with th DDP.

Generally no, there are no restrictions but some will require 2 people's credits and some items have a supplement. It's usually pretty clear on the menu but servers are good at telling you what you can have.

I'd say you should be able to have anything that's designed for one person, so looking at the menu you wouldn't be able to have the porterhouse for two or the ribeye for two (unless two people ordered it). The boathouse is two credits anyway so you'll want to be ordering the most expensive thing you can to maximise value as you'll be using two credits.

Provided that's what you actually want. No point ordering the most expensive thing just for the sake of it, if that's not actually what you fancy. Especially when you get the free DDP.

But obviously also be aware that the higher value the items you're ordering are, the higher your tip will be (as it's done in % of total meal cost).

Thanks for all the tips! I kind of figured you would only allowed to order the items for 1 person and if you wanted meals designed for 2 you would have to pool together. It was just the sizing and the prices that confused me! I think I'm beginning to understand it all lol!

There's one single portion Wagyu steak at the Yachtsman that isn't included, but that's stated on the menu. It's about $120 on its own though, the $50 steaks are fine!

There are no items that have a supplement - there are extras that have an additional charge.

There are a few items that do have a surcharge themselves (not for add ons).

Such as from Yachtsman

"5-oz Wagyu Strip Loin

Miyazaki Prefecture Marble Score A5 (If using Disney Dining Plan, a surcharge will apply). $125.00"

They are very few & far between though and it will be made very clear on the menu.

Yes that's the supplement I meant. Can't think of any others but I'm guessing there might be comsidering the changes to what's included recently such as removing the Surf n Turf from DDP at Narcoossee's.

please remember though whatever you order you will be expected to pay a tip so the more expensive the steak the larger the tip.
