Air China
I’ve been having a look at some flights, at the moment they are to expensive £800+, but AirChina kept coming out the cheapest option, when I looked at the reviews, they had some rotten ones.
Has anyone flown with them ? What did you think ? |

Our ds and wife used them once and said never again. They used them because they were cheaper but said the food and service "left a lot to be desired" and would pay extra next time.

I haven’t personally but my best friend and family have and they said they would never fly with them again even if they where £1!
The food was horrible, the service shocking. Attitude terrible.

We've done several internal flights on Air China. The planes were modern, clean and on time. Service was 'efficient' and food was 'interesting' - one food item we couldn't identify but was delicious! Overall, great for short haul but would look at other airlines for long haul.

Hi, I'm flying with Air China end of next month!
I too read some dodgy reviews but the price was good and the flight direct so I booked it. Regarding the food I will eat at the Airport and will also take snacks (lots ) on board just in case. I always take my own blanket now when I fly and I plan to try and sleep on the flight so I'm hoping it will be alright! |

DD flew to Beijing with them last month. She said the staff were rude, the seats uncomfortable and the food inedible - she’d never fly with them again. Sorry if that’s not what you wanted to hear.

We flew with AirChina earlier this year to Thailand via Beijing. I found the overall service to be okay but the food was something left to be desired! It was that bad it's put my partner off Chinese food for life!

What would worry me is safety ! Are they as scrupulous as western airlines with maintenance, repairs, testing and updating equipment ?
