Booked Car Hire Through Costco

We have booked a Hyundai Santa Fe or similar for our 14 day trip. Cost £384.81 payable on arrival. No other fees will be payable according to Costco Website.

I have heard of this site and I know some on here have used them

I see it's an Alamo vehicle whereas Enterprise want £561 for the same vehicle. Good decision not to go with Enterprise!

This bit concerns me in the T & C's -

The renter is responsible for and the discount does not apply to any additional costs which are not included in the daily or weekly rate, such as optional excess waiver, local taxes, fuel, and the cost of additional items such as the hire of child seats, roof racks and navigation guides, etc.

So does this mean you are liable for the airport user fee and State tax?

However a great price by the way.

Probably because it is generic for all countries. For Florida it clearly states all taxes and local fees included. So looks like a standard UK based Alamo rental in Florida with Costco as the agent

Your Price Includes

Your Costco member discount
All taxes and fees
Additional driver
Unlimited mileage
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER FULL
EXTENDED PROTECTION

Taxes and Fees are:

CUSTOMER FACILITY CHARGE 3.50/DAY Included
PRIV FEE RECOV CHG 10 PCT Included
TIRE BATTERY FEE .02 DAY Included
FLORIDA SURCHARGE 2.00/DAY Included
VEHICLE LICENSE FEE .66/DAY Included
SALES TAX Included

You are probably right.

However you also use the word Probably. I don't do Probably I do certainty! But, it's almost certainly ok, but I don't do that either!

Agree it is always best to check all the vendors for your dates. Last time I checked my potential dates in Aug DFCH beat Costco.

Costco allows free cancellation so the op can always check as it gets nearer and change if they find it cheaper.
