We arrive on 25th February for 11 days, so hoping we might be able to make a visit then!

Excited about Disney
|
Our plan this year is to arrive a bit earlier, park the car at the edge of Celebration (or the park and ride) as its crazy at 10pm! There are lots of stalls selling food, drink etc.. a play area for the kids. We just put our name down and it was about 45min wait at 7pm ish but plan to eat a bit earlier. They have a parade, live band and fireworks over the big lake. People get their spots quite early like Disney! We managed to eat, get ice-cream (queue was huge for ice-cream/toilets) listen to the band, the national anthem then amazing fireworks to music. Not sure what the theme is yet-usualy updated on Celebration town center website. Parking is free (just park correctly facing the same way as other cars in the direction of travel), fireworks are free. Just money for food, icecream and kids play. We had a great time.

Market Street Cafe reopened last night. We were in Celebration but didn't get chance to look in.

We had burgers in the tavern, and it’s the only place my husband has mentioned he wants to return to, great prices too. The person on the next table I think had onion rings and it was the biggest bowl full I’d ever seen!

Well I have just had look. At 2:30 PM they weren't open! The hoarding is off and there is lots of new patio furniture. The inside seems to have lost the diner theme. It actually reminded me of "identikit modern British gastro pub " inside but the lights were off so I am not sure. No menu in the box outside either so we are all still in the dark as well really.

Hi Donna, looks like they've renamed it as Market Street Diner, so it's a bit confusing that they've turned the theme from a cafe to a diner when it looked like a diner in the first place and now sounds like it looks like a cafe.
The menu is on their facebook page and looks similar from what I remember, except a couple of the desserts are $14 I hope it's shareable! |
