I booked with charter travel earlier this year and they called this week to say I could upgrade to pe for £6 pp on the inbound flight! No brainier.

There does seem to be some strange things happening for PE at virgin. I was having a wee nosey for next year and it was £8 cheaper to go PE one way. We upgraded to PE and it was £200 return per person so we took that.

I'm still checking mine several times a day... I did notice that after the upper upgrade on the return being 500... it has now changed to £1440! wth! really! my pe upgrade on outbound is now 278... so going up a tiny bit pretty much daily.
Still silently fuming that I didn't book my elr seats quicker as the single seat at the window is still taken, I keep refreshing and pressing it in the hope by magic it will reappear and I can book it... there is a single elr seat on the other side of the plane not booked and I keep wishing it to jump sides... so annoying

We just upgraded our outbound flight from PE to UC in may for £200pp
Happy with that not flown UC with virgin before only Club World with BA which doesnt look a patch on UC

This thread got me curious about upgrading, so I chatted with VH. To upgrade our ECO seats to PE (2 adults) is £1563. Think I'll give that a miss.
