This used to be the case but it changed last July after MCO airport authorities voted to let Uber and Lyft pick up passengers as well as drop off.

Yep as above, and I can definitely confirm they pickup at MCO - I used Uber to get from the airport to my hotel in both October and December with no issues.

Can I just ask where do they pick up from at MCO?

Never used Uber before, so silly question but how do you know it's your driver?

It tells you what the limits are. For Uber X (the cheapest, standard one) it’s 4. Uber XL can take 5-6

You select the nearest exit to you. Your told the make of the car and the drivers name. He’s told your name so when he approaches he’s told to shout out your name to confirm (I said he, but we got a few women too)

With luggage, you’ll probably need an XL yeah (or Lyft plus)

They’re slightly more expensive than X. Think we paid about $30 to I drive last year

It was about $20 going to the airport. The Uber site shows you rough costs
