which one would you choose and why please?

American Airlines
MIA-LHR

British Airways
LHR-ABZ

or

They are both the same price but the american airlines one is 13 hours and the Ba one is 11 hours 55 i am leaning towards the ba straight though but concerned that they havent left much time to catch connecting flight at heathrow

Any advice would be great thanx in advance mandy

Remember you will need to transfer terminals in LHR from T3 to T5 how long is the actual layover in LHR for each flight?

I might have jumped the gun as i have actually gone a booked the second option

Thank you both for your replies, the first flight will be no problem as we are staying overnight at Heathrow but yes the flight home is questionable but i guess it will be really easy to get another domestic flight home if we werent to make it..

and not too bothered about not having seats together but we shouldnt be too bad as one of us will still be a child, so if im right they will need to be seated next to an adult and as we will be starting our flight twenty four hours before we will be able to book the flights on the way out before the others who havent prepayed to book.
