Virgin Flight map/seat selection opening time?

Hi All
It's been a few years since I booked our seats on Virgin to Florida. We've been on the West Coast. Last time I had to be bang on 8am to select our bubble seats. Is it still the same time that the seat selection opens? I'm sure ours must becoming available at some point next weekend we fly on Tuesday 21st of August. Tried phoning Virgin to get my flight locator number but they have far more important things to deal with this at the moment, so cannot get through. Thanks

If you are flying Economy in Virgin, you can choose your seats at any time after booking by paying a fee, which depends on which seats you want. If you want to select your seats without paying a fee, you have to wait until OLCI opens, which is 24hr before the time of the flight.
Slightly different rules for other classes. Details on the Virgin Atlantic web site.

OP. Today Virgin have flights released for a departure up to the 15th August so you have a few days yet as you say.
The second they become live you can book your seats as Ian says above - at a fee.
Or enrol in the Flying Club and you can book them free 72 hours prior to the flight.
