Possible toll violation

The toll plaza wasn’t working, not taking money as it seemed to be full so just dropping through. Paid but toll payment didn’t register so will I get a toll fine from dollar? Couldn’t believe it, u try to pay and the toll booth doesn’t blooming work!

Toll fine with Dollar is $15 plus the sign posted toll however if theres a fault on the machine then you shouldn't get fined. I'm sure the tolling authority will have something in place which flags up that every vehicle driving through a certain toll isn't paying so they shouldn't charge you. Which road was it? might be worth dropping the toll authority a quick email with your vehicle registration to ensure no charge is sent through to Dollar.

It was the 417 as u come on at celebration, going towards airport. Do u have an e mail address I could try?

This has happened to us and we never heard anything ( I knew it would be the Celebration one ).
Did you just drop all the coins in at once, we have found it's better to put one coin in at a time and wait for it to register before we put the next coin in
