Mothering Sunday and Mothers Day in USA are two different things on different days. Ours has a basic religious foundation, US seems to be a Hallmark Day.

Mothers I think, they gave them to the kids to give to the mums. It was lovely, just a couple of stems, didn’t last long in the heat but a lovely gesture.

I was handed one at DHS on Mother’s Day and it was just me and my husband. So I’d think/hope it was all women.

We've been to the parks on American Mother's Day didn't see any difference in crowds at all. Not sure why it would ?
