DC question
Hi, we have DC booked for 31st July and 1st & 2nd as reserve dates.
What are the reserve dates for? If it is forecast storm we can change the date? But does it have to be one of the reserve dates? Or can you choose something later in the holiday? Thanks |

They have a limited number of people there (I think it's 1300) so perhaps if the day you want to go is already fully booked, you then go with your second choice - that's my take on it anyway.

My friend has booked this for us all. She spoke to the lady but switched off so don’t d not take in what she said.
So she is assuming we are booked on the 31st as that’s the first date she gave. With it being July/August I am concerned about storms as we have had a few wash outs those months. It is also a busy time of year so will we be able to change the date? I am very confused lol What are the three dates for? Are they in case the first date is bad weather? Thanks |

I’m assuming she hasn’t booked it direct with DC? I could be wrong but I think it could be, if booking with an agent, your first choice date is 31st July but if it’s full and they can’t book it for that day then 1st and 2nd are your second choices. I know when we booked a few years ago we looked at one of the booking agents but they couldn’t guarantee the date we wanted would be available so I booked direct with DC instead.
Regarding weather it’s probably forecast storms for most days in July but DC will still go ahead as normal unless the weather is forecast to be really bad, tropical storm etc then it will close anyway. Its probably best to just go if it’s a normal Weather forecast (possibility of an afternoon storm) as the weather might turn out to be fine. I believe you are allowed one date change but that’s if there is availability. Edited at 12:14 AM. |
