New booking for 2020

Long story short I have a voucher to rebook any hotel, and an annual pass that's now valid until the end of the year. To ensure I can get park reservations for every day of my trip and not just 3 (as per AP allowance) I want to book a Disney hotel when I rebook but they're still showing as unavailable to be booked this year. I thought I saw something last week saying they were opening them up for sale again but they're not there? Am I missing something? Has anyone heard anything different?

Do you think there would be a chance that they would extend the expiry date into 2021? Might be worth giving them a call and explain that due to Covid-19 its unlikely that you will be able to travel from the UK

They are only opening a few Disney hotels this year and most of those are DVC. None are currently available to book for 2020 due to covid.

Think you can book on the US website for 2020? Or you could last week?

Thanks for the quick replies. Unfortunately I'm not able to go next year for personal reasons. So it's go this year or lose the money I've already paid (hotel voucher is non refundable too).

Does anyone know how to get on the US website? I just want to look at what's available, when I rebook it has to be with my travel agent anyway.

Could you sell the vouchers on for next year?

The last time I tried I couldn�t get on the US site and neither could anyone on here. You used to be able to just change the page from UK to US (top right hand corner I think it was).

Eta: Just looked on my phone, on the menu you can choose �country� but the only options are still UK, Ireland or Europe 😕 . US English used to be an option on there before they changed it and that would take you to the US site.

Haven't tried for a bit but sometimes if you persevere you can get the US site,last time I followed a Link from a forum post & it worked.
Just a word of caution to OP, if you make a booking against current FCO advice & already are aware that US Borders are not open, then you run the risk of losing everything as it's something you are aware of before booking!
Until they have current spike under control they will be loath to open external borders
