Does it have to be an entire flat/house or would you be happy to rent a room in a house share? If this is an option, check out Spare Room as you could definitely rent something on there for two months.
You would need to be careful not to rent with a bunch of students but maybe a room in an older couples house where they need the extra income could be a mutually convenient arrangement? Debra

Thanks Debra. I think a room on its own won’t be enough unfortunately - I really appreciate the thought though

Hey
We've moved around loads in London and found a few different ways to do it. Spare Room: You can get whole properties and sometimes a sublet for cheaper than a traditional rental/air b and b Air B and B: Message owners on air b and b and make an offer, we've saved loads of money doing this. Sometimes they would rather have someone in for three months at a lower rate than worrying about getting loads of bookers/changeovers. Just explain your budget, worst they can say is no. Trusted Housesitters: You can get long term sits where you look after the house/pet. We ended up in a super fancy home in South London for 4 weeks whilst the owners were on holiday looking after one small dog. Home Away is another good 'holiday letting' site. It's also worth mentioning to agents - you never know what they have available and they have the best access to people who have homes. Good luck x x |
