If you contract has/is coming to an end then sky should be telling you as recommended by OFCOM..also apparantly sky told ofcom they will allow their out-of-contract customers to get the same deals as new customers, when they take out a new contract.

For those waiting for black friday, why wait. you maybe able to take a deal now and plan it so you can cancel if better offers come out. Also worth check.

As an out of contract Sky customer I can't see how I can get the same deal as a new customer. Is there a link for that?

Can anyone post a link to the live chat section? I’m struggling to find it.

We have just worked out that we are basically paying £37 per month to record the channel 4 F1 coverage and neighbours, plus what is about to increase to £37 per month for fibre broadband. We have to be able to do better than that!

That would have been true before, but with Sky Q the box continues to belong to Sky, so I can't understand why there isn't a level playing field. We have re-started our Sky at a new house, and had to have a full installation as there was no Sky dish plus we've now got Sky Q, and we got an existing customer price.

I don’t have the tv package or have a home phone so my monthly price come down £15 a month.

I was have broadband issues, so they sent a engineer and a new router and it’s sorted it out thankfully.

Yeah you can. I migrated my Netflix to Sky a couple of years ago and it still works fine on mobiles/tablet/laptop and direct from TV apps.

No longer true as you don’t own the new Q boxes unlike the HD boxes.

As a result of the call. Managed to get BT Sports far cheaper with Sky rather than with BT (how odd) and have offset the planned Sky increase with a deal to pay what currently paying plus cheaper BTSports👍
I spoke to someone tonight who was paying £45 for BT Sports from BT ... I was gobsmacked . Needless to say he no longer is but has moved it.

Yes, I was with BT Sports and their renewal price alone was £36- yet Sky offer it alone and without any discount for £25😳
