Cancelling a BA car hire ?

Has anyone had any luck in getting a refund back from BA?
I have a car booked for a month from 18th April.

Because I don't have flights with BA I have experienced several different conflicting responses when I phone to attempt to cancel.

The booking is for a Budget car not Avis. I don't want to accept a voucher for future use. I would prefer a refund.

Just wondering if anyone is in the same situation and could offer any advice.

I booked car hire with BA separately and although I thought it was Avis confirmation came through as Budget as same company.

Look at the terms and conditions of your car hire voucher as mine said cancellation full refund. Only issue I had was that despite my booking being in � it is actually calculated in $ so when I got my refund it was a lot less due to exchange rate difference.
