Xmas worry

We are booked for a short break near Christmas but are worried it won’t be worth it with wearing face masks, imagining the lines will be massive with social distancing.
But because we had to cancel our Disney World holiday we were really looking for a good Christmas feel break. Do you think that is still possible with restrictions, also how good is it at that time of the year?

We are desperate for some Disney magic & have been looking at DLP as an alternative because we just don't think getting to the States & having a vaguely normal trip is going to happen for a while.
We've never been to DLP but having watched numerous trip video's on You Tube we have decided to buy annual passes.
We were keen to try & get over in December for a few days but are holding off on buying the passes & booking anything until we know things in France & the UK have calmed down.
The face mask thing is not a concern for us, they're going to be around for a while whether we like the thought of them or not.

We booked for Christmas at the beginning of this year before pre covid. After 2 cancelled trips there I’m really hoping we can go!

To answer the 'how good is it?' question, it's amazing! It'll be different this year, I imagine, but Xmas really is magical.

You need to wrap up warm, but that adds to the feel. They do fake snow on main street, not sure there'll be any proper parades, but there's always things on. The decorations are top notch!

It really is a good season to visit. X

Face mask with a scarf over the top. Then it will be christmassy. Although no fast passes and social distancing, there are fewer hotels open, fewer tickets and probably fewer people.

Go for it!
Christmas time at DLP is magic.
Plan to wear Santa's face mask, with soft and white plush hair,or Characters masks with their Winter outfit.🎅🤶
As we HAVE to live WITH Covid19
...let's play cheerful!

They've announced the Christmas programme today. No parades and shows, but more character selfie spots, and extra festive meet Mickey Mouse.

I'll see if I can find the post, screen shot it, then edit this post. X

We went last Christmas and it was not cold at all , in fact it was lovely and mild!
We were looking at booking to go back this Christmas season but with the threat of quarantine for U.K. visitors to most of Europe being discussed ,I’m going to hold off as I’m still fighting for refunds for our cancelled August holiday , couldn’t bear to add another company to the list ☹️

The biggest let down is lack of mickey big band beat. That show is excellent.

I'll be honest and say that I didn't find DLP overly Christmassy. But then we were there over actual Xmas and it just didn't feel the same as at home. if we'd gone eg. the week before, it probably would have been lovely. Agree with PP that the big band show was wonderful and I'd go back just for that!
