i have got sore hands today...

we have just moved house and today i decided to tackle the cloakroom, the idiots who lived here in their wisdom decided to put foam on the walls (it has hessian running through it ) and it is a nightmare to take off . i have only managed to take off a couple of square meters and it took me all day! my hands are completely wrecked and i haven't got any nails left . i can see it taking me weeks to get the whole lot off! Why do people have these daft ideas? what is wrong with blown vinyl if you want that look for your house .
wish me luck for the next couple of weeks as i can see i am going to have fun with it!

sorry needed that rant

awwww sarah i have been thinking of you to be honest, we have OAP's next to us now and they are so quiet, there isn't any kids near and even when you go to the park there isn't anyone playing (except for the cricket team). we decided to give DD the biggest room so that we can be on the end of the house so just incase the old lady next door is having a coughing fit we won't hear her .
sorry not trying to make you feel awful but after having 10 yrs of sleepless nights and wild parties until 4/5 am i am so happy that we have finally found some peace. still thinking of your situation and honestly if you ever need to chat please please pm me as i know exactly how you feel.

Andrea, we have reached the same conclusion... we have told our council that we are not carrying on paying the money we are paying to live this way... where we live has got steadily worse over the last few years and the 'decent' neighbours we had are selling up and moving or getting rehoused and we have had enough.
DS has ADHD and Tourettes and dosn't even go out anymore it has got so bad so we have medical grounds to move and if that dosn't work I will go back to work (not what DH wants) and we will either buy or rent privately...we will not carry on paying nearly £300 a month to live like this:angry:

Seriously... I wish you every happiness in your new home, you truely deserve it.
