I had one out at the Dentist under local, and no problems. The other three were at the hospital as they had wrapped around the jawbone, no probs again that was under general, I was eating breakfast next morning and up and around fine, when I went back a week later to have the stitches removed I only had one left. I had eaten the rest - YUK. Good luck I found it fine, the worse bit was worrying beforehand.

Appaently I had one out years ago - just by dentist and honestly at the time had no bad effects---unfortunately I have just discovered they left the root in which has been causing me untold agony on and off for the last few months...have to go to dentist next week where they will open my gum up, search for the root and extract it
