I did start a Book Club on here last year but it did fizzle out (probably my fault!).

If there are enough takers I would be willing to start it up again.

Most the old links have gone now but this one will give you an idea of how it ran. I basically chose 3 books every couple of months and we would vote on the one to read. We would then have a thread reviewing it.

Anyone fancy it?

Oh - I would. I prefer reading a book to watching tv sometimes. We have got Sky with 100's of channels and there is still nothing on to watch! I get through loads of books so would like some recommendations as I tend to stick to chick lit.

I'd be interested in a book club, I too read at least 2 - 3 books a week, so am always on the look for something new to read.

Emily Barr - Cuban Heels is another good read and one I brought in ASDA for £1. I think if you look in the supermarkets they often have some great deals and the new releases are under £4 which is such a great deal.

I will look out for the Time Travellers Wife on my next trip to the shop though, thanks for that

I would be quite interested in a Book Club. I only really read chick lit and autobiographys. So it might get me interested in anothe type of book.

I've been keeping my eye out for My Best Friends Girl, they didn't have it in our local tesco but will try Asda tomorrow(begrudge paying Bookshop prices when they are so cheap in the supermarkets)
Not that I need any more books at the moment as following recommendations from some Dibbers I have just discovered a new(to me) author Nora Roberts, last week I got out two of her books from the library, and on Saturday three more!

R & J recommendations

I loved Labarinthe by Kate Mosse and am waiting to start The Secret Brotherhood - another of their recommendations.

Always by from Asda as such good value.

I loved all of the Dan Brown books and anything else of the conspiracy type also Patricia Cornwell, Clive Cussler, Wilber Smith and HARRY POTTER !

The last Templar is good too.
