Walmart foodie question?

Hi
Last time we went to Florida two years ago, we went to Walmart but didn't really look round the food aisles. We bought clothes and shoes etc but this time we go, hope to spend longer in there as there are such bargains!

What nice food/drinks have you bought there and should I try?

Thanks
Sarah

TBH the only food i get at walmart is the stuff you could get anywhere, I prefer Publix and Super Target for their fresh food it is a lot nicer IMHO

I agree Walmart is ok for food items especially the dry goods but Target and Publix just can't be beaten for the fresh items, such as Publix Deli Chicken in a box!

We get snacks from Walmart, but as others say there is better fresh food elsewhere.

Wallmarts BBQ chicken strips in a box by weight are fantastic to have on own or in a salad relaxing by the pool with a glass of wine

We thought Walmart's muffins were superb. They were doing a box of 4 huge muffins for 99c last time we were there. We ended up having them for lunch!

They had the best cheesecake ever, you get 12 slices but 4 different varieties so there's something to please everyone!

We bought a lot of their soft drinks and pizzas / snacks for the room. Tremendous value and will be the first place we visit next year before the hotel to stock up.

usually do all our food shopping at walmart, where else can you buy 24 bottles of water for $5. also they do sugar free gatorade type individual sachets for adding to the water., ideal for dh who is diabetic. for takeaway coffee it has to be 7/11 who do the miost delicious blueberry/vanilla coffee!
