Tesco Delivery for Christmas

You can now book up to and including Tuesday 21st (was Sunday 19th) December for Tesco delivery.

Usually the few days before Christmas are reserved for regulars who use Tesco delivery and they are sent a special email that provides them a link to book these reserved days.

Yeah first time ever I have received the special email and booked for 23rd Dec so I am happy. They probably will have lots out of stock and will have to go shoppin on Xmas eve! But at least I can get the bulk of it

I work as a picker for Tesco Dotcom, and I can tell you (having only been in the job for 2 months) that we are already rushed off our feet with orders ! We work up until the 23rd, and then the 24th, 25th and 26th we have off. I dont know if this is true with all stores though.

Have been shopping with Tesco Direct for 12 years now and have never received an invite to book early

Just hoping I can get the slot I want before Christmas.

I also do all my shopping through Tesco.com and have never had an email to book early. I was up at a stupid hour last year trying to secure a reasonable slot and failing miserably! I am away for Xmas this year so I am just hoping that the 27th or 28th won't be so popular a slot.

I have never got an e-mail even though I get at least one delivery a month :angry: wasnt happy and couldnt get delivery date last year so this year have decided just to get earlier delivery with all non perishable stuff, leaving just fresh stuff which will buy from Marks & Spencer on Christmas Eve when I go to collect the turkey & party food at 8AM !

I got my email on Saturday and have booked my slot for 23rd I work near a big Tescos so probably will still end up there early on christmas eve morning as I'm bound to forget something. It was the turkey foil a couple of years ago and I ony realised when I watched Gavin and Stacey and Smithy had wrapped his presents in kitchen foil!

I usually get an e mail but i haven't yet, altho i did get one from sainsburys saying they start tomorrow so it might be sainsburys for us this year!

i booked mine at 1am for the 20th Dec only because i was awake with a bad cough did i remember to book it,when i looked at Tesco slots again at 04.00 no more slots for the 20th

Yep all booked for Tues 22nd, there seemed to be good availability.
