Just a few from today - sorted the electrics and plastered the walls and ceiling, including get rid of the stippling on the ceiling. No workmen tomorrow as the plaster needs to dry out. The area around the back door hasn't been plastered yet as my new door hasn't arrived (although may keep the one ve got!)

Not sure whether these posts make me excited or nervous! We are currently going through the build of a major double storey extension. Upstairs is nearly finished and tonight hubby and I need to empty the kitchen as they are knocking through from the new extension to my existing kitchen and lounge!

We are going for a howdens glendevon gloss but in cream! and Block walnut worktops. We have an island too with pop out plug and a hot tap! I'm sadly so excited haha!

CupcakeJoo I feel the same lol We're only planning to extend the dining room a little and knock the kitchen through to it. The builder told us to expect dust for about a year

I can quite believe it as I'm still finding gold glitter in the hall from last Christmas... blooming glitter covered green leafy stuff on the banister lol

Bit of an 'omg what have I done' type of day today! The carcass of the cooker/microwave, fridge/freezer, washer and dishwasher are in, along with sink and some of the bench. It all looks sooooo big in my little kitchen ! I love my work tops - they are very slightly textured

Cooker/microwave carcass not fitted in place yet

Fridge/ freezer still freestanding for the minute too

Looking great!

Ours started this week too but somehow there has been a bit of a snafu on the delivery of the actual kitchen. The fitter was hoping it would be here Tuesday - it will hopefully be tomorrow! We are in dust heaven
