Just found this. He sleeps in a crate indoors so hopefully he will feel safe in it. I've got a hatchback so the slope should fit. Going to order the medium and not fit the removable divider.

As well as this, a dog could become a missile if you have to break sharply! Doing you both damage.
We have estate cars to accommodate dogs, with a guard up. Although the canvas cages look good. Our dogs were trained to settle in the car. Our last one Coda, whined every trip though!

He's very funny. He was snoring loudly in the crate.

Wont it be a bit dark in the boot? 😂

We use his harness and an attachment for the seatbelt.

Our 10m old cockapoo is in a soft crate that zips closed. When we first got her and started using it, we did positive reinforcement everytime we popped her in it, using her kibble as treats. When she was small (8-9 weeks) she did whine and cry it in, but we stayed strong and she soon settled. Now she happily goes in. As soon as we open the boot, she knows that's her space and pops her paws onto the boot until we lift her in (she's small so won't even be able to jump in herself lol). She lays down and snoozes and crates zero fuss in there! I think she's very cosy after a long walk!
We have 3 kids, so the boot is the only option for her lol xxx
