Washing tablets

Hello

Strange question, but has anyone ever had an issue using washing tablets in the washing machines in the USA?

I ask, as I mentioned it on a page on FB, and was told not to use them as the soap suds erupted out of the washing machine and they got told off (when they used them).

Anyone else had this issue?

Thanks

Some machines ar HE machines and need the HE (high effenciency )
Liquid or powder and in some the tablets just don’t dissolve or create the problem listed

I’ve always used tablets in the Disney machines, no probs. Now the dryers are super hot, be very careful with those, much shrinkability!

I've always taken Ariel Liquitabs and have no idea if the machines have been HE but had no problems thus far. I like the pods as I think they dissolve more easily in the quicker US washes.

Was it a US Facebook page? In America a lot of washing machines are top loaders where you pour in washing powder. I think most of our washing machines in Europe are equivalent to a ‘HE’ machine in the US.

We took Sainsbury’s own brand tablets and used them in a HE machine no problem. The machine did have warning all over it about not using anything that didn’t state it was HE on the packaging. Because our tablets were from the UK they didn’t state this but we used them and no problem at all.

I save the small toiletry bottles and fill with aerial liquid ..other brands are available... exactly the right size for one wash and no problems with dissolving or skin allergy from different stuff to home
