DAS Pass registration experience
Just wanted to share my experience of the video chat registration process for anybody that is applying for it in the future.
I have to say, I was geared up for a long wait having seen reports of people waiting hours and hours to be connected. However, I was all done in 43 minutes! 11:50 Logged into VPN and set to USA. 11:55 logged in to Disney site and accepted Terms and conditions. 12:00 Clicked on request video chat. It opened a chat and requested guests names and person requesting the pass. 12:05 joined video chat. Didn’t want to know much just how you think it would help and a quick pic. 12:07 Video chat finished and passed to live chat to make bookings. Was advised there was no wait and will be connected soon. 12:09 Joined live chat. Asked for the first 3 days ride requests (they ask for your top 3 for each day). They then tried to get them and came back with what they’d managed to get. Told to check and if any changes, let them know. All we changed was Splash mountain to a later time as it overlapped with Thunder Mountain and we didn’t get our first choice (test track) at Epcot but asked to see if there was anything at all later in the day. She changed Splash mountain to 1pm and managed to get Test Track for 5:30pm. 12:43 All complete and logged off. Well happy with that. Would’ve been even quicker if we didn’t have to swap the two rides. Just make sure you have booked your theme park days. They ask for your first 3 visit dates at first but then move on to the later visits. Edited at 01:57 PM. |

That sounds good.
Can I ask about the ride booking? Can you prebook 2 rides each day for the duration of your stay? And once you’re there can you do other rides with it on the day? For the video call do we need to be prepared with what we want to book then? |

1: 2 rides if available from what u want.
2: Yes, initially can only book from the limited list but once in park, can book more. One at a time (not including 2 prebooked) 3: Just have to hand what rides u what and what days u have booked. |

This is really helpful! Thank you. Does anyone know how many people a DAS pass covers?
