Space 2020 - is it even real? lol

I get that like everyone else, we want a lounge (or in desperation a sit down) reservation for Space 2020 and demand is high but I am beginning to question if it's an urban myth or something - has it literally never come up nor Garden Grill which has always had lots of slots before when we've been and is the only one my daughter has asked for... losing the will here

I managed to get a lounge reservation for September 4th at 7.40pm, a little too close for harmonius but will look out for an earlier slot. I came across by chance yesterday afternoon after i had booked my ADR's in the morning.

It’s not an urban myth - I got a reservation at Space 220 for next month. Had a good choice of times too 😃. Keep trying, there are always cancellations ☺️

How did you manage that? I am 49 days out and can only go up to 1st september on app and website.

The lounge is also sit down at allocated tables, the tables are just a bit further away from the “windows” and the menu is simplified.

I personally have never seen Space 220 come up outside the ten days of my onsite booking advantage. When my window opened up I had a few days where I could see availability from about day 7 onwards of my onsite stay. But haven’t ever seen availability before or after.

I had a spare booking that I didn’t need and tried to coordinate release with a dibber, but it didn’t work, I released my booking but it never became available and we both kept checked immediately and for about the next hour. It was just gone.

It does seem bad this year. You’re not imagining it… I haven’t managed to get ANY of the restaurants we wanted. However, I am doing my best to chill - as it stands I think we will all celebrate if we actually get to Florida. It’s worth looking at where you are staying and looking at all the new places which have opened up recently. There are some great restaurants opening up with super menus and theming…. When the world gives you lemons and all that…

I got all of the restaurants I wanted for our May trip even space 220. That was staying onsite though, I am sure if staying offsite some are difficult to get.

I struggled to get times / dates I wanted for several restaurants despite being on site. It’s the newest restaurant so unfortunately those staying onsite are usually snapping it up as soon as they can do their 60+10

I couldn't get any times to show up when I was looking for 3 of us. Apparently when you change it to 4 in the party, lots of times will show up.

For some reason the system doesn't like odd numbers of people at a table.

Use an aggregator like Mousedining (good for specific date and time) or Touring plans (better for a time frame), that's how I've got all my difficult to get ADRs in the past, managed to get Oga's yesterday within 2 hours of setting the alert (& I missed the 1st one as was too slow).
