feeling your pain. I hope the reason is within the compensation rules as this will qualify for the £520 per person reimbursement

Yes hopefully and that compensation is paid promptly. Flight tracker shows it taxing now at 19.55.

Is it plausible that this is something to do with the size of the plane?
Special shunts to move the plane? Special catering trucks? Special luggage vehicles?
Or am I clutching at straws?

Potentially yes but todays was Insane. I’ld imagine the crew would have been fuming as much as the passengers
