That makes sense.

Yeah we prefer the dog to go in the boot, so we have a dog guard at present. Mind you, we do get dirty looks from him when we dare to put a small suitcase in beside him

Our dog at his biggest is about 110lbs and we have a Skoda karoq. Now she is also interested in getting a Great Dane. We are in the process of looking for another car as our pcp deal comes to a end in the middle of next year. So we are looking at a Honda CR-V if a good enough deal comes on.

I got rid of my Yaris because our dogs couldn’t sit up comfortably. I’ve got a Peugeot 2008 and it fits our two huskitas in perfectly.

We have a Labrador and we transport her in the boot of our SEAT Leon. Plenty of room for moving around.

I have a new(ish) Micra and two spaniels. They both stretch out on the back seat with dog seatbelts attached to their harnesses.

I’ve got a focus and have had 3 labs in the back without a problem, I do have a guard though, otherwise one would definitely try and jump into the front.

I’m actually wanting to change my car in the next couple of years and I’ve got boot sizes on my mind
