Are you in the tower or regular room? We just cover the fan sensor with a towel and/or hit the button o turn it of. It will reset after a while but the towel worked best

The sensor is on the wall, underneath the light switch, you can press it to turn it off or we normally put a plaster or a post-in note over the sensor so it doesn't trigger, anything sticky to cover the sensor will do, it will stop it the fan coming on

Suggesting you contact reception was being helpful. It was the obvious thing to do.

This is the offending article. we found it by accident. Its a sensor with a switch below.



if you look carefully at ours there is sticky tape residue at either side
