Anaheim/Hollywood

I just booked a flight to LAX for 6 nights and im aiming on doing Disney and staying in Anaheim. Then moving on to Hollywood and staying there.

Can anyone recommend hotels in both areas please? Obviously that are reasonably priced

Heya, do you have a budget?

Who's going? (I'd recommend a different hotel for a family than I would a couple, for example).

I have recently updated the Dib Guide book section about all the various Anaheim hotels
https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/Har...ls-p-1023.html

Basically for Disneyland there are two types of people.

Some people want to stay within 10 minutes walking distance and are not concerned about hotel amenities.

Some people want good hotel amenities and are fine taking transport to the parks.

For $150 a night you are really looking at the motels on Harbour Boulevard. I have stayed at two recently. In January 2022 I stayed at Tropicana Hotel. In June 2022 I stayed at Desert Inn and suites.

Both are motel style outside corridors and about 7 minutes walk from the bag check security.

I am a solo female and I have been doing solo trips to Disneyland for over 10 years.

I’ve been recommended Best Western Holly Walk of Fame hotel, Roosevelt and The Tangerine in The Hollywood/Burbank area.

We stayed at The Roosevelt and loved it. Full of stories and history and a great location. Right opposite the HOHO and Manns Chinese theatre etc plus just down the street from the subway which will take you straight to Universal.

We have stayed in the following hotels in Anaheim..

Desert Palms Hotels & Suites been there multiple times and most recently in March , can’t fault it at all , free breakfast and 10 min walk to the parks .

Castle Inn and Suites , Again stayed there multiple times, rooms are quite dark but spacious , being a older hotel it does have outdoor corridors , again about a 10 min walk to the parks .

Hilton Anaheim we stayed there in November , It’s a lovely hotel , pleasant staff and the lobby area has games etc for kids . Little bit further to walk to and from the parks though.
