Spectrolee - Day 4 - The Fingers Crossed Trip Animal Kingdom

A nice start with Mickey Waffles in the room

Our first stop in Animal Kingdom this morning was to pick up a Wilderness Explorer Book. This is one of our favourite activities to do, and the cast members were fantastic with the kids today.

A little less guilt at taking the kids out of school early, they are learning lots of interesting facts to earn their Wilderness Explorer stickers.

Popped into Zuri sweets for some treats - candy floss for Joni

Earning another sticker - this time learning about fossils and types of dinosaurs. Ed was answering all the questions about types of dinosaurs, what food they eat etc
(we had just traumatised Joni before this by taking her on the Dinosaur ride - not one she'll be going back on any time soon)

When we got back to the room we had a lovely elephant towel animal waiting for us

Gary took a run to White Castle to try their burgers - they were delicious
They are quite small, but delicious

Gary, Joni and I decided to go out of the Disney bubble tonight and over to Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner

There was a 30 minute wait for a table, so we popped over to Dollar Tree for a look around. We got Davie his favourites here - starlight mints.

Bargains (junk) galore!

Gary ordered The LongHorn Porterhouse and I got the Flo's Filet & Lobster Tail, we both opted for loaded jackets as our side. Salads were also included- I had the Caesar, Gary had the mixed green.

Joni had the Kraft Mac n cheese

Gary had a longhorn beer and a bud, I had a glass of wine

We paid 120 - service was great and I think we'll be back here again
