An Enchanted Cruise - St Thomas

At St Thomas we had booked a ship tour of the ‘mountain tops' and the sky lift to Paradise Point. This wasn't the best tour! The driver stopped at every ‘tat shop' he passed and although the views were gorgeous it just wasn't our idea of fun. Then the (ancient) bus broke down twice and we had to get a lift from another bus. The sky lift ride lasted 2 minutes and the advertised restaurant at the top was like a packed motorway cafe (with views). St Thomas is gorgeous though, we just picked the wrong tour for us.

Shame about the tour, it sounds wonderful on paper! It still looks like such a beautiful place.

We'll be there in August so will avoid that tour.
St Thomas was a port of call on one of our cruises a couple or so years ago but we ended up getting a boat to Tortola for a swim with the dolphins experience.
This time we are looking at doing something on St Thomas
