No problem, both places are casual dress and both do walk in and reservations.

Not been yet but we have reservations for Saltgrass for next month. That’s on IDRIVE. It’s a Landrys restaurant so if you’re a Select Club member you can just walk up.

I think what I may do is try out Black Angus without to much risk as they have an Earlybird Special between 11am - 5pm with moderate fixed price offerings for 3 Courses.

Based on that I will have a greater insight into the ambience and quality of food without an expensive outlay.

The palm at hrh is very good as is the steak house at the large Hilton by the convention centre

Went to The Black Angus at Lunchtime and had the House Steak, A Soup Starter and Dessert for $16 - veritable bargain from The Earlybird Menu.

Steak was fine and a reasonable size for the price.
